Full refund before work starts
If no assigned linguist or LaborMap task has started, you can cancel for a full refund.
Draft for professional review - Updated June 30, 2026
This page explains how cancellation, refunds, no-shows, waiting time, transportation, and quality concerns are handled for LaborMap fixed-fee Language Desk packages.
This policy is the working public draft for the direct-sale Language Desk model. Final wording, tax receipt handling, payment-provider workflow, and any telecommunications-sales filing requirement should be reviewed before collecting paid orders.
LaborMap does not use a blanket no-refund rule. Refunds depend on whether work has started and what part of the package has already been provided.
If no assigned linguist or LaborMap task has started, you can cancel for a full refund.
If you asked for immediate start or a scheduled service has begun, completed or already-started work and pre-disclosed pass-through expenses may be deducted.
A Labor Office result, settlement, recovery, or professional outcome is not guaranteed and is not a refund reason.
The quote shown before payment must state the service-start trigger for the package.
These rules apply unless a more specific rule in the quote is more favorable to the user.
| Situation | Policy |
|---|---|
| No linguist assigned and no work started | Full refund. |
| Linguist assigned but work has not started | Full refund unless a pre-disclosed pass-through expense has already been incurred. |
| Immediate start requested or scheduled work has started | Deduct completed or already-started work and refund any unprovided divisible part where applicable. |
| LaborMap or the assigned linguist cannot provide the confirmed service | User chooses full refund or free rescheduling/replacement if no useful service was provided. |
| Public office or employer cancels before work starts | Free reschedule or full refund. |
| Public office or employer cancels after departure or waiting begins | Deduct only pre-disclosed started work, waiting or attendance portion, and documented pass-through expense; refund the remaining unprovided part where applicable. |
| Quality issue | First remedy is correction or replacement within scope. Partial or full refund is available if the core promised service was materially not provided and cannot be cured. |
| Case result is disappointing | Not a refund reason. LaborMap provides language and clerical support, not outcome guarantees. |
The final quote controls the exact schedule, unit, and scope, but it must be consistent with these public rules.
Send the request to the support channel used for the quote or to support@labormap.kr. Keep the quote ID, payment name, and requested service in the message.
LaborMap records the request time, order or quote ID, and requested remedy.
LaborMap checks whether work started, what portion was provided, and whether any pre-disclosed pass-through expense was incurred.
For a partial refund, LaborMap provides a simple calculation showing paid amount, provided or started portion, pass-through expense, and refund amount.
Refunds due are processed within 3 business days after the refund amount is confirmed. The payment provider or bank may take additional time to post the refund.
Quote, acceptance, payment, service-start, cancellation, refund, and complaint records are retained under the published privacy and retention schedule.
The quote shown before payment must make these limits clear.
This policy applies only to LaborMap fixed-fee language or clerical packages. If you separately hire a certified labor consultant, lawyer, or other licensed professional, that professional's own written quote, engagement terms, cancellation rules, and refund rules apply.
